GLCS Foundation News! This is where you will see the latest about grants, scholarships, events and all the ways we are working to expand and enhance education at Gull Lake Schools! New Kiln at Ryan Intermediate!CLICK HERE to hear a message from Ava, Kylie, Rachel and Isabella. Thanks to a grant from the GLCS Foundation and matching grant from the GLCS Fine Arts Foundation, Ryan Intermediate's Art Teacher, Mrs. Hahn (pictured upper left holding a piece of bisqueware), was able to purchase a new kiln. Now, students may use their imagination to create beautiful works of art from clay. "Curators," Ava Vanlerberghe, Kylie Arnold, Rachel Anderson and Isabella Blake, unload fish bowl glazeware from the kiln and prepare the masterpieces for distribution. Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation 10100 East D Avenue Richland, MI 49083 © 2018 The GLCS Foundation brought professional illustrator Paul Sizer to the Middle School on 4-20-18 to speak about his work and demonstrate his talent. We love bringing inspiring programs to the students of Gull Lake Community Schools! PAUL SIZER live and works in Kalamazoo, Michigan with his wife and fellow comic artist Jane Irwin. He self-publishes his own graphic novels, including the all-ages LITTLE WHITE MOUSE series, the American Library Association award-winning graphic novel MOPED ARMY, and the multi-media music based graphic novel B.P.M. Paul also works with clients all over the world on design and illustration projects, including CD/album designs, websites, book/magazine covers, game graphics and logo/branding systems.
