The GLCS Foundation is a volunteer organization made up of community members who are interested in helping forward our mission of enhancing and enriching education at Gull Lake Community Schools. We can only succeed with the help of others in the community.
To commemorate our 40th Anniversary, we recognized our founding members by dedicating and renaming the GLCS Outdoor Classroom, built by the Foundation in 2017, in their honor.
We are grateful for the founders' vision of the GLCS Foundation and its continued pursuit of enhancing and expanding education that will benefit Gull Lake Community Schools for generations. In the past 40 years, we have provided over $3.4 million to Gull Lake Schools to pursue this mission.
We gratefully honor and recognize our founders: Thomas D. Geil, Everett N. Hiestand, Judson A. Knapper, John W. Lawrence, Joyce A. Melvin, Thomas W. Merritt, Peter S. Ordway, Thomas M. Ryan, Robert E. Van Peenan |
