Who are we?
The Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation was founded in 1983 by a group of caring, committed members of our community who wanted to find ways to help our schools, teaching staff, and students.
Today, we are an organization of business people, parents, community leaders, neighbors, and friends. We are from all walks of our community’s life, yet our goal is the same: educational excellence.
By working together, we will help bridge the financial gap between equipping our children for their world and the public funding our schools receive. We enable our schools — our teachers, administrators and students — to be the best they can be.

Our partnership with the school district
• Teachers, staff, professionals
• Within our board
• Of our financial resources
• Through sound decision-making
• With thoughtful grant-making
• By promoting the work of the Foundation
• While leveraging opportunities for community
enrichment and awareness
The Gilmore Car Museum Event!
A "get-to-know-us" reception was held on the evening of November 6, 2019 at the Gilmore Car Museum for current donors and community members wanting to find out more about the Foundation. Attendees had an opportunity to interact with grant recipients and learn more about our scholarships, discovering just how much we do to enhance and expand education at Gull Lake Community Schools. Judging by the comments of those who have long supported the Foundation and those who wanted more information, people were surprised and very pleased with the depth and breadth of our work.
