The Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation has a history of helping our high school graduates take the next step…college. Generous Foundation donors have funded scholarships to those Gull Lake students whose achievements and needs set them apart, helping students offset the cost of their education and making an investment in their future and ours.

Students enrolled in the Gull Lake Early College Program should apply for GLCS Foundation scholarships with their graduating class, in their junior or senior year as specified in the individual scholarship descriptions. Scholarship recipients who are enrolled in the Early College Program will have their scholarship funds deferred for one year to allow for completion of their Early College Program requirements.
GL Gateway Academy Students
Application inquiries should be directed to the Gateway Academy Supervisor, Lynnette Walker.
- The Blair Holden Memorial Gateway Scholarship awards up to $2,000 to a graduating Gateway Academy student planning further education.
- The Beth Palmatier Gateway Scholarship awards up to $1,000 to a graduating Gateway Academy student planning further education.
- The Richland/GLA Lions Club-Kay Maxson Memorial Scholarship awards up to $1,000 to a graduating Gateway Academy student planning further education.

GL Middle School Students
The GLCS Foundation will no longer award the James R. Ryan Family Foundation Middle School Scholarship. All previously awarded scholarships are fully-funded and payments will continue to be administered by the Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation for recipients who are currently attending Gull Lake High School or college.
Although the James R. Ryan Family Foundation is moving in another direction, the GLCS Foundation remains incredibly grateful for the generosity of the family and the ability to support the college education of 13 recipients since 2005.
