November, 2020 update from Jake: "Last summer I worked for the United States Attorney's Office - Western District of Michigan and had an absolute blast. I do not know for sure what I will be doing next summer, but I am hoping for good news after my interviews with the Department of Justice and Navy Office of General Counsel.

As far as school goes, MSU Law is great. I am a staff editor for the Michigan State Law Review and a member of the Sutherland First Amendment Moot Court Competition Team. I'm also part of the Michigan Leadership Initiative, a small MSU law cohort that develops leadership abilities in select students."
