Welcome Parade, Downtown Richland Tuesday, October 30, 1:00 p.m.—everyone is welcome to line the streets of Richland to welcome The Wall That Heals when it arrives in Richland on Tuesday, October 30, at 1:00 p.m. All Gull Lake students have been invited to stand alongside M-89 and the school campus driveway wearing red, white and blue. Students will be given hand-held flags to wave as The Wall approaches. The parade route will begin at the intersection of Cork Street and Sprinkle Road at noon and will continue north on Sprinkle Road to Gull Road toward Richland. All businesses are encouraged to fly their American flag to honor The Wall and our veterans. For detailed event information, please click here to view the event website. Support The Wall—Order Memorial Flags and Wreaths! This Vietnam Wall exhibit not only honors the veterans of the Vietnam War, but of all wars. To show your support, you may order American flags and memorial wreaths, including a ribbon with your personalized dedication message, to be displayed at the event from November 1-4, 2012. Wreath – 21” diameter, preserved evergreen, with customized ribbon $50.00 American Flag – 3’x5’ flag with 10’ pole with customized ribbon $100.00 To access the order form, click here.
