International Artist Sayaka Ganz - May 8th!
In keeping with the ‘Year of Science’, the artist, Sayaka, will present a program about her art and recycling philosophy to all Gull Lake 6th grade science classes, middle school art classes, and the Graduating Leaders Honor Program members. Please check out Sayaka’s international art at sayakaganz.com. After school, Sayaka will teach a workshop in the GLMS cafeteria where students will learn to make their own creations from recycled utensils gathered in the GLMS cafeteria over the past week. Those creations will be displayed at the school for everyone to enjoy. The workshop will use various tools to form and create sculpture, including a drill with supervision. There is no charge for the workshop. Volunteers are needed to help with the workshop! The workshop will start immediately after school in the wrestling room. Refreshments will be given to all participating students. If you have any questions about the workshop or the presentations at the school, please call Kim Ditto, GLMS Counselor at 269-488-5040 extension 2031 or email at [email protected] Comments are closed.
