OUR SCHOLARSHIPS

The Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation has a history of helping our high school graduates take the next step … college. By awarding scholarships to those whose needs and achievements set them apart, we help them offset the costs of their education — making an investment in their future and ours.

In 2009, the Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation awarded $50,300 in scholarships to 19 students. In addition, the first recipient of the James R. Ryan Family Foundation Middle School Scholarship received his award at the annual Gull Lake High School Honors Assembly.

Foundation Scholars
Gull Lake Community Schools has a rich history of exceptional educational performance. This year, as every year, the Foundation saluted the best of our best — seniors who have earned a 3.9 or higher grade point average for at least seven semesters — with a special evening in their honor.

During the evening, we paid tribute not only to the students but also to their parents and one teacher of each student’s choice.
