The Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation is proud to facilitate the following scholarships available to Gull Lake students. The funds for these scholarships are provided by the generous support of community organizations, individuals, and families.

Michael Bailey Memorial Scholarship
GLHS junior; minimum 3.3 GPA at the end of 1st trimester junior year; full-time enrollment at a college/university; financial need required.
Laurie Makin Cartwright Memorial Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 3.5 GPA at the end of 1st trimester senior year; must be 4-year participant in Gull Lake Band and/or PAC; full-time enrollment at a college/university.
Coca-Cola Healthy Lifestyle Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 3.0 GPA at the end of 1st trimester senior year; must demonstrate a healthy lifestyle for yourself and the world around you; full-time enrollment at a college/university.
Tom Collins Memorial Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 2.0 GPA at the end of 1st trimester senior year; member of GL golf team for at least 2 years; full-time enrollment at a college/university; financial need considered.
Friends of the Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation
GLCS senior planning to attend an accredited college, full- or part-time, following graduation; financial need required.
James W. and Thelma Garside Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 3.0 GPA with preference to students with 3.0-3.5 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; participation in school/community activities and part-time work history; full-time enrollment at a Michigan college/university; financial need considered.
Gull Lake Area Community Volunteers - Men’s Group
GLHS senior; volunteer participation in the Gull Lake or greater Kalamazoo area.
Gull Lake Area Community Volunteers - Women’s Group
GLCS graduating senior; volunteer participation in the Gull Lake or greater Kalamazoo area; must be a resident of the GLCS district.
Gull Lake Area Rotary Club Scholarship
GLHS senior planning to pursue post-secondary education. Must exemplify the philosophy of the Rotary Four-Way Test and the Rotary Motto “Service Above Self.”
Gull Lake Education Association Scholarship
GLHS senior planning to pursue a career in education.
Gull Lake Education Association Pathway Scholarship
GLHS senior admitted to an accredited community college or trade school pursuing a career of his or her choice.
Gull Lake Education Association Pekkarinen Scholarship
GLHS senior planning to pursue a career that was inspired by a teacher.
Marv Hope Memorial - Gull Lake Area Rotary Club Scholarship
GLHS senior who will attend University of Michigan; must exemplify the philosophy of the Rotary Four-Way Test and the Rotary Motto “Service Above Self”.
Lee Kermit Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the first trimester senior year; full-time enrollment at a college/university; planning to pursue a course of study in the medical field.
Ladies of the Lake Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 3.0 GPA at the end of 1st trimester senior year; full-time enrollment in college/university; planning to enter the medical field.
Jason Morse Memorial Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 3.5 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; full-time enrollment at a 4-year college/university; planning to pursue a degree in the medical or medical sciences field; must be a 4-year participant in Gull Lake Band; financial need considered.
Parker Hannifin Engineering Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 3.0 GPA in core classes at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; full-time enrollment at a college/university; planning to pursue a career in technology and/or engineering.
Mathew Paulose Memorial Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 3.5 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; full-time enrollment at a 4-year college and planning to study biology or bio-medical sciences; financial need considered.
Pelletier Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 3.5 GPA at the end of the first trimester senior year; full-time enrollment in a 4-year college/university; majoring in liberal arts or social sciences; financial need considered.
Richland/Gull Lake Area Lions Club - Kay Maxon Memorial Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 2.0 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; full-time enrollment at a college/university; community service experience required; financial need required.
The First Responders: Sergeant Collin J. Rose Memorial Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 2.0 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; full-time enrollment at a college/university; pursuing a career as a First Responder (police officer, fire-fighter or EMT).
Mitchell J. Rossen Memorial Scholarship
GLHS senior; 3.0 GPA at the end of the first trimester senior year; full-time enrollment at a college/university; must exemplify character through demonstrated leadership, hard work in academics, compassion, and involvement in extra-curricular activities and volunteer work; renewable.
Darl Scott Golf Industry Scholarship
GLHS, Gateway Academy or Partnership graduating senior; minimum 2.25 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; full- or part-time enrollment at a college/university; must have worked in any capacity at any golf course for at least one season; renewable.
Robert W. Smith Memorial Scholarship
GLCS graduating senior; minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; full-time enrollment at a college/university (including vocational and trade schools); planning to pursue a career as an engineer or in a trade; financial need required.
Warrior CPR Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; planning to study Emergency Medical Technology/Paramedic; preference for participation in EMT EFE; consideration for participation in Medical Technology EFE; financial need required.
Jack Weber Memorial Scholarship
GLHS senior; minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 1st trimester senior year; must show involvement in athletics and exhibit a dedication and pride in their school, home and community, and leadership; full-time enrollment in college/university.
