TRIMBLE, Carl E., Jr.
May 8, 1958-July 28, 2008
Carl passed away Monday, July 28, 2008 at his home. Carl was born May 8, 1958, the son of Carl E. Trimble, Sr. and Elsie (Garrison) Trimble. He attended Gull Lake High School and graduated from Ferris State University. He was married to Linda Maitland on September 7, 1985. Mr. Trimble was the owner operator of Modern Plumbing, which his father, Carl Sr., started in 1945 as Modern Septic Tank Engineers. Carl is survived by his wife, Linda and daughter, Amanda, both of Richland; his mother, Elsie of Augusta; his sister, Mrs. Allen (Debra) Spicer of Augusta; two nephews, Troy Irving of Augusta, Jason and Shayne Elwell of Galesburg; his aunt, Mrs. Richard (Randy) Armintrout of Richland; several cousins and one great-nephew. Carl was preceded in death by his father, Carl E. Trimble, Sr. in 1991; one sister, Sheila Elwell in 1981; and his maternal grandmother, Leona (Mama Lake) Baker in 1971. Carl had many loyal friends and employees. A memorial service was held Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Yorkville Community Church.

CHALKER, Rodney William
Of Parchment
Rodney was born in Kalamazoo on February 27, 1959 to Ernest William Chalker and Janet Mary (Moore) Chalker. Rodney attended Gull Lake Area Community Schools from 1964 and graduated in 1977. Prior to being disabled in 1999 he was employed with Rushmore Auto Body, Industrial Graphics Services, Middle Earth Graphics all of Kalamazoo, and with Delano Services in Allegan. In 1986 he was joined in marriage to Elaine Ewing. Rodney welcomed Elaine's two children Cheryl and LeAnn into his life with an open heart and mind and raised them along with two additional children Charlie and Heather. Rodney was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother Janet (Chalker) VanTilburg. Rodney is survived by his children, Cheryl, LeAnn, Charlie, and Heather; Grandchildren Jarret, Sierra, Destinee, and Sage. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St . The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday from 5-8 PM. PIXLEY, Thomas E. of Knoxville, TN Formerly of Battle Creek
Passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Tom was born August 2, 1961, the son of Jerry and Barb Pixley and Linda Ohneck. Tom attended Gull Lake High School and graduated in 1979. He was employed at United States Enrichment Corporation in Oak Ridge, TN. He leaves behind his parents, Jerry, Barb and Linda; wife, Sara; sons, Eric and Ryan; brother, Richard Pixley; sisters, Shelly (Mike) Dunmire, Debbie Pixley, Melissa Pixley; nieces and nephews, Kendal, Trey, Josh, Jerika, Amy, Ryan, Brandy, Michael, Madison; great-niece and nephew, Jaiden and Josh, Jr.; and many other special and loving family and friends. Tom enjoyed hunting, working on trucks and spending time with his sons and friends. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, January 12, 2008, 1:00 PM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home in Delton, Pastor Jeff Worden, officiating.
